What exactly can we use coal and natural gas for? Because I've been mining it and assuming I was using it for energy production or something even though that's not accounted for.

Armies need fuels and equipment. Equipment providers need steel and plastic. Steel and plastic producers need coke and petroleum respectively.

And when I say coke, I do not mean the soda. I mean the coal by-product.

-Industry
-Production of Plastics
etcetera....

It should be taken into account, this isn't Imperion, we can't power our ships with wishes and pixie dust.
